Frequently asked questions
What are summer intensive language courses?
- These are German courses during the summer holidays.
- They comprise 150 teaching units.
- They end with a certified examination.
What formats are available?
- A language course leads to language level B1 (prerequisite: good A2 level).
- A language course leads to language level B2 (prerequisite: very good B1 level).
When do the summer intensive language courses take place?
- from 14.07.2025 to 22.08.2025
- Monday to Friday from 13:00 to 17:00
How much do the language courses cost?
- Participation in the language course and the exam are free of charge.
- Participants are responsible for their own learning materials and travel costs.
What formats are available?
for people from the Rhine-Neckar district who are due in autumn 2025:
- start an apprenticeship or
- are in their first year of training or
- start an entry-level qualification or
- attend a full-time school-based vocational training programme (e.g. AVdual, VAB, BEJ)
How can I register?

- one-time registration with valid e-mail address required before logging in
- Alternatively possible via integration management or social counselling on site
- Registration period: Monday, 19.05.25 - Wednesday, 25.06.25
What do I need to consider when registering?
These documents must be uploaded when registering online:
- A current proof of residence
- A training contract or a current letter of application
- A current language certificate or the interim certificate from spring 2025
When will I know if I get a place on a course?
- The first thing we check is whether the documents are complete and correct.
- People are then invited to an assessment and their language level and motivation are checked.
- After the registration deadline, those who are suitable for the course will be accepted for the summer intensive course. The others will receive a cancellation.
