Welcome to the Russian Children's Academy!
Our academy is a community of adults (parents and educators) and children (toddlers and teenagers) who are interested in preserving the Russian language and learning about Russian culture.
More than just language lessons
We not only offer Russian lessons, but also other support and learning courses: logic, English, a course on history and literature, music lessons, fitness dance and creative design.
For all our preschool children, there are comprehensive Russian language block courses, where learning and play, as well as creative design, all have their place. We prepare the children for school by alternating playful and classic learning methods, which is why the children enjoy coming to us.
Mother and Baby Groups
For toddlers aged one to three years, there are groups together with their mothers where the little ones can interact, play and explore the world in Russian, while the mothers receive informed support through exchange with the educator and among themselves.
Our students can choose courses according to their interests, however, the lessons continue to be held in Russian. Communication within the group is motivating, and immersion in Russian culture, as well as engagement with literature and history, strengthens the desire to learn the Russian language more intensely.

Russian for Children and Teenagers Who is the course intended for?
- for bilingual children aged 6–8 years who can already read and write a little Russian
- for children who have a basic vocabulary
- for children who understand Russian well when they hear it
What do we do in the course?
- We are improving reading skills.
- We retell stories and make up our own stories.
- We are learning what the difference is between a text and a sentence.
- We are learning nouns, adjectives, and verbs
- We are learning to distinguish between feminine, masculine and neuter nouns.
- We are learning the difference between animate and inanimate nouns.
- We are learning punctuation marks and spelling rules.
- We will carry out some project work
How long does the course take?
- The course consists of 12 topics
- It lasts 6 months
How often?
- 1 lesson per week
- What is the lesson format like? In a mini-group with 2 students + teacher.
- Reading course for 6 to 12-year-olds. For whom? For children aged 6 and over.
